Yes, reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 8 days before your arrival date.

(unless you have booked a non-refundable special rate, usually available in low season)

If you have to cancel your stay :

– up to 8 days before the scheduled arrival date: free of charge, deposit refund

– 7 to 4 days before the arrival date: we keep the 30% deposit

– 3 days and less before the arrival date: the stay is fully due

For any date changes, please contact us ; we usually find a solution 🙂

Yes, you are just 2min walk away from the old town. The house is located 50m from the circular boulevard, which you just have to cross to be in the historic center. We are very close to the Hospices, Place Carnot, wine cellars, restaurants and shops. See Map & Access.

Of course, with pleasure. And that is in fact one of the main advantage of a B&B… to get good advice, ideas for visits, walks and more ! Just ask us in advance in order to plan your stay the way you would like it to be. And we may also discuss further once you are at Le 14 Faubourg.

We live on site at the B&B and we are keen sharing our best tips : visits, restaurants, walks, wineries, where to find the best products in the region…

Yes, Beaune is well connected by train. And you can do a lot here without a car, either walking – biking – or by booking a wine tour.
To or from Beaune by train :
Paris at 2.5 hours (TGV to/from Dijon or direct TER)
Lyon at 1h30 (TER)
Mulhouse at 1h30 (TGV to/from Dijon)
Lausanne at 2h30 (TGV to/from Dijon)
From Beaune station, just 10 to 15 minutes on foot to Le 14 Faubourg B&B.

You may easily visit Dijon from Beaune, 20 minutes by TER, faster and more convenient than by car.

Remark : TGV tickets are like plane tickets, usually more expensive the later you buy your tickets. Normal trains (TER) have fixed rates.

We welcome our guests every day from 5 to 7pm.

Rooms must be vacated no later than 11am on your departure day.

Arrival and departure can nevertheless be brought forward or delayed: please let us know your wishes before your stay so that we can organise accordingly.

We are also happy to store your luggage before/after occupying your room.

Parking is free and unlimited on our street. There are also 2 free parking areas just 100m from our house.
So the entire property is vehicle free, we take advantage of the large courtyard for breakfast, to rest, or to read a book in the shade of the hazel tree.

On the property, under cover if necessary.

For babies and children up to 3 years old, we provide you with a travel cot with sheets free of charge, regardless of the room occupied.
For children over 3 years old, the “Suite des Ducs” can accommodate two, on a comfortable sofa bed and/or an extra bed.
It is also possible to add an extra bed in the “Vintage” (more appropriate) and “Mirrors” rooms. Yet less comfortable than the « Suite des Ducs ».

Extra bed including breakfast:
• Babies/children up to 3 years free
• Child > 3 years or adult 25 euros per night

Yes, we have everything you need: travel cot with sheets, high chair, microwave to heat food, etc.
And all this is free for babies/children up to 3 years old 🙂

We appreciate pets as evidenced by the presence of our bunny « Oreo » and many cats coming to visit us.

However, the structure of the property unfortunately does not allow us to accommodate them.

Those on the top floor, yes (Mirrors and Vintage rooms). In view of the increasingly hot summers, we have installed modern, energy-efficient air conditioning.

The « Suite des Ducs » has a quiet fan that helps cool down if need be.

Everything you would need is within 2 minutes walk : bakeries, wine cellars, supermarkets, post office, pharmacies, a fantastic bookstore (Athenaeum), local products and much more. Even a mustard factory! Good addresses are listed in our book available in each room. And if you are looking for something specific, please just ask us.

Oh, we don’t have a swimming pool! It is a choice for ecological reasons and it turns out that in summer (June – Sept), an incredible natural swimming pool is open to the public 10 minutes by bike or 5 minutes by car. Around 3000m2 of naturally filtered water, without chemical treatment. We go there often, our children love it! More details on Beaune plage website.
